Bob Saltzman and his team designed and implemented an advertising department and business plan for CDNOW that provided clients with a targeted advertising strategy that combined promotions and advertising to identify and qualify purchase intenders and then motivate and direct them to retail and web locations to test and purchase products. During Mr. Saltzmans tenure at CDNOW, the company was the second largest e-commerce site on the WEB and the premier music ecommerce site.
